Getting Started
Ape is a Solana trading terminal that lives inside Telegram. There is nothing to install and no browser extension to connect. This page takes you from zero to your first trade in about three minutes.
Open the bot
Open @ApeItOnSolana and press Start (or send /start). Ape creates a Solana wallet for you on the spot and sends a welcome message with two things:
- your wallet address, and
- your private key, hidden behind a tap-to-reveal.
Back up your private key the moment you reveal it, somewhere only you can reach. Anyone who holds it controls the wallet, and we cannot recover it for you. See Wallets & Security for how this works.
Fund your wallet
Your address is shown on the home screen. Tap it to copy, then send it some SOL from any wallet or exchange over the Solana network.
It lands in a few seconds. Tap ↻ Refresh on the home screen and your balance updates.
Keep a little SOL spare beyond what you plan to trade. Every Solana transaction costs a small network fee on top of the amount you spend.
Make your first trade
Two ways, whichever feels natural:
- Paste a token address. Ape replies with the token card: risk intel on top, one-tap buy buttons below. Tap a buy amount and you are in.
- Just say it. Type
buy 0.3 sol of <token address>and Ape sets it up.
By default Ape asks you to tap Confirm before a trade goes through. You can turn that off in Settings.
Arm an exit (optional)
On any token card, tap TP / SL / Limit to set a take-profit or stop-loss that runs on its own. Or tell the agent in plain words: sell my BONK at 2x, stop loss at -20%.
